Catalogue to rear of book advertises first three Wonk books all produced in 1941. Spine and corners slightly worn. Covers a bit grubby. Neat name in ink to front endpaper. Front hinge and one inner hinge pulled. Slight damage to lower edge of one page. Slight damage to rear pastedown from binding error. Contents clean. A decent copy of a very scarce Ladybird book!

Wills & Hepworth Ltd. 1st ed . 1945. Very good condition in a dustwrapper in good condition. Series 417. Green boards with colour vignette and titles. Also contains: THE NIGHT WATCHMAN. Presumed 1st edition (dated from catalogue to rear of contents). Spine and corners bumped with very minimal splitting to top and base of spine. Very small patch of surface paper wear to front board. Contents beautifully bright and clean. One joint cracked. Wrapper has small inscription to front flap and is heavily edge worn with some loss to top of spine and slight loss to corners. Large closed tear to fold of front flap and a few 1" closed tears to top edge with surrounding areas a bit creased. Still a very nice copy of a scarce book.

Wills & Hepworth Ltd. 1st ed . 1947. Very good condition in a dustwrapper in fair condition. Ladybird Series 474. A Tasseltip Tale. Pictorial paper boards. A few patches of sticky tape residue to rear cover and small patch of surface paper damage. Corners are bumped and worn. Contents are tight, bright and clean. Pictorial wrapper is badly torn to rear cover and spine and has been messily put back together; alot of creasing to rear panel, patch of surface paper damage to top of front panel. Large closed repaired tear also to front panel.

Wills & Hepworth Ltd. 1st ed . 1948. Nearly fine condition in a slightly better than very good dustwrapper. Series 474. Pictorial paper boards. One small grubby mark to top of front cover, next to spine. Contents are beautiful - tight and bright - looks like it has hardly been read! One small closed edge-tear to base of front panel and a couple of grubby marks - but a very nice wrapper. Overall an outstanding copy of this title - has been well looked after.

Inscription in ink to free front endpaper. Some light brown margin marks in places. Illustrations are lovely and bright. Pictorial wrapper is chipped to top and tail of spine and corners, with some grubby marks.
